Oh No!!! Somehow I have managed to avoid much interest in Barbies up until Sunday. Ugh. We have a pile of hand me down Barbies in the basement that the kids haven't played with in years. But now all of a sudden Serena is in love with them it is all she wants to do. I'm glad she is having fun but I really had thought they were on their way to Goodwill. Sigh. So as of Saturday, this is a typical scene on our living room floor. Not a stellar photo, but documents our day. :)
Oh I'm so sorry!! It seems once Barbie invades she doesn't go away.
ReplyDeleteWell at least your barbies are clothed! We have an intermittent interest here and as such the clothes have all "disappeared" which is code for "chucked". I LOVE this picture!
ReplyDeleteAs a kid I was a big Barbie fan so my kids have tons! Katie's are beautiful, Lizzie's lay around in stages of undress with unruly hair. Luckily I get them to keep them off the living room floor and in their rooms!
ReplyDeleteLOVE her hair - hee, that is so funny!
ReplyDeleteThis so made me laugh! If you click on the photo to see it larger, it's really clear. I'm finding the same thing, that my pics look a bit fuzzy on the blog. Click on it, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteLOL We are in the barbie phase here. They are EVERYWHERE. My daughter even has a life size cinderella barbie thing and its really scary looking lmao
ReplyDeleteWe have a huge pile of Barbies everywhere around the house - they get everywhere and truthfully, I can't stand the doll!!
ReplyDeleteAnyways, it's just the preview on the blog that looks a bit fuzzy, if you click on it and get the big version, it's really clear!
My oldest never touched a doll, but the youngest must have a dozen barbies and still plays with them regularly!
ReplyDeleteAs for the picture being fuzzy, you just need to resize it for the site, it should be about 450pixels wide at a resolution of 72, and that should help. :-)
Great photo Kristi. My kiddo has never gotten into Barbies. She has a few ... the Asian ones that my sister sent her years ago (back when they were more widely available), and the Coming Home barbie.
ReplyDeleteBarbie looks a little like roadkill there! LOL! I can totally empathize with you. Emma loves all of her Barbies, too!
ReplyDeleteI think it's perfect!!! I love that she's wearing a mermaid outfit and has crazy hair. LOL
ReplyDeleteWonderful & She has hair like mine in the morning, I only wish I was as slim as her!!! Great job, this is so awesome!
