Day 31-32

Day 32

Maya is really starting to get into reading too. I think it makes such a difference when they can read chapter books that are interesting to them. She didn't get very excited about very many of the beginning reading books. Here she is tonight reading a "Pet Fairies" book by Daisy Meadows.

I have been really impressed with Sarah C's photos. She is an amazing photographer. One thing I have learned from looking at her blog is that if I am mindful of the light, I can capture more catch lights in my kids' eyes. I sat on the floor as Maya read and the second she glanced up I got this photo with a bit of a twinkle. Thanks Sarah for the inspiration!! :)

Day 31

Here's a picture of Longs Peak on the Colorado Front Range. The thing I love about this picture is that I didn't do any post processing. :)

  3. Karis loves the fairies books by Daisy Meadows. I wish they would create a line of dolls to go with them because she'd be all over it! Love the colors in both these pictures.
