Day 33

Meet our second vehicle! We live less than a mile from Martin's office and Serena's school, across the street from the elementary school and a half a mile from our church. So we don't need to do a ton of driving in our daily life and we just have one car. This is how Serena gets to and from school. Martin takes her everyday in the Burley (unless it rains - basically never - or there is snow on the roads) and leaves the trailer there so I can take her home. I manage to take her home in it about half the time in the winter and most of the time when the days are warmer. I love where we live and that it is so sunny here that we can rely on the bike. :)

  2. Fantastic way to get around - great for staying in shape and keeping the air cleaner where you live!

  4. She looks so happy in there!!! I agree it's a certain plus when you live close to everything. I can see the kindergarten and the school - and my workplace, from my kitchen window LOL It only takes 10 minutes to walk the girls there in the morning and then back to my work :) Saves on gas and car costs!

  5. Look at that smile, she sure is happy to be going for a ride!!!

We use the bike a little but it is either 100% humidity in the summer or below zero in the winter so our bike season is very short.

  9. How fun! I miss being so close to everything. I used to walk to the grocery, the bank, everything. Now it's 15 miles to town! Great exercise and money saver too! She looks like she loves it too.
